Me and Lou Gehrig, We Go WAY Back

It’s that time again! Every April I fund raise for the Catfish Hunter Chapter of the ALS Association. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. We go way back.

I raise money to honor my friend, Lynette Farrell Rochelle. Lynette lost a four year battle with ALS in 2000 at the age of 38. While great strides have been made in ALS research, there is still no cure. It costs an average of $250,000 to care for each ALS patient. Can you help? If the link doesn’t work, please copy and paste this into your URL search:  http://web.alsa.org/site/TR fr_id=9726&pg=pfind&lnk=viewWalkers#.Uzq0Nye9KSM.

or click on the ALS link in the list to the right.
